Welcome to uglyads.work (the "Site"), operated by Ugly Ads ("Ugly Ads," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Site you confirm you've read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy below. We may update these Terms from time to time. If you keep using the Site after we post changes, you accept the new Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age where you live, to use the Site.

3. Use of the Site

Use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to: break any law using the Site; try to get into parts of the Site, its servers or connected systems you're not meant to access; scrape or crawl the Site with bots without our written permission; upload viruses or harmful code; disrupt the Site or its servers; or pretend to be Ugly Ads, someone who works with us, or anyone else.

4. Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents, including text, graphics, ads, logos and code, belong to Ugly Ads or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Don't copy, republish, modify or distribute them without our written permission. Your browser may cache pages, and you may save or print a few pages for your own non-commercial use. Third-party software and games on the Site, such as Doom and js-dos, belong to their owners and are credited in README.txt.

5. Things You Send Us

If you send us feedback, ideas or messages through the Site, you let us use them to run and improve the Site and our services. Don't send us anything you don't have the right to share.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site links to and loads things from other websites and services we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, UGLY ADS WON'T BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WON'T EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100.00). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to cover Ugly Ads against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that come from your breaking these Terms or misusing the Site.

10. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Site at any time, for any reason. Sections that should naturally survive, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits and indemnification, still apply afterwards.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Ugly Ads is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts in that state.

12. Severability

If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Ugly Ads about the Site. Work we do for clients is covered by a separate written agreement.

This policy explains what Ugly Ads collects when you visit uglyads.work, and what we do with it.

1. Information We Collect

What you give us: your name, email, company or app name, and anything else you write when you email us, use the Mail window or book a call.

What's collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting and content providers may log your IP address, browser, device and the pages you request, so the Site can be delivered and kept secure.

2. Cookies and Tracking

We don't use advertising pixels, analytics cookies or cross-site tracking. The Site may use your browser's storage for things that make it work, such as remembering which window you opened. If we add analytics or advertising tools later, we'll update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

3. How We Use Your Information

To reply to you, schedule calls, run and improve the Site, keep it secure, and meet legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with: providers who help us run the Site and our business, such as hosting, email and scheduling; authorities when the law requires it; a buyer or successor if the business is sold or merged; and anyone else you ask us to share it with. Some features, such as Doom, load code from public content delivery networks like jsDelivr, which receive your IP address when you use them.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete it.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email system is completely secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other US states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share it for cross-site advertising. Visitors from the EEA and UK may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to their local data protection authority. To make a request, email us, and we won't treat you differently for doing so.
